Nissan has been struggling to attract the target audience in the Indian market, a big reason is its limited product line. To spread more roots and dominate the multiple segments, the brand is likely to add a new SUV in the country named Patrol.
The company has not revealed anything related to the launch as yet. However, some report says that if everything goes as per the plan, the model might hit the market by 2026.
International Spec
The model is already available in the international market with the left-hand drive option. As the demand is getting increased in countries like Australia, South Africa, and Japan, the company has reportedly started investing more efforts to build a right-hand drive model.

Engine and Power
Currently, the Patrol SUV is available in the international market with two engine options – A 3.8-litre V6 and a 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 engine. The former generates a maximum power of 312 BHP and 386 Nm, while the latter churns out an impressive output of 419 BHP and 700 Nm of peak torque. Both the units are paired with a 9-speed automatic gearbox.

The Indian version is expected to use a 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 engine. Again, this is just a speculation, concrete details are yet to be shared by Nissan.
