Make Nando’s-style burgers with simple five-ingredient recipe

As the January payday seems like an eternity away, many of us are tightening our belts and putting a pause on dining out or indulging in takeaways.

But fear not, foodie fans, as Nate Anthony has come to the rescue with a mouth-watering recipe that’s bound to satisfy your taste buds.

Nate Anthony, the culinary genius behind the popular TikTok account Bored of Lunch, has revealed how you can whip up your own versions of beloved takeaway treats right in your kitchen, without breaking the bank, reports Bristol Live.

He recently took on the challenge of recreating one of Nando’s iconic burgers, complete with fiery spices and luscious halloumi cheese.

For those looking to mimic Nando’s distinctive flavour at home, Nate suggests grabbing your preferred sauce from the local supermarket a simple hack for that authentic taste.

Plus, the entire dish can be effortlessly prepared using everyone’s favourite gadget: the air fryer.

Not only does the air fryer make this homemade burger a healthier option than its restaurant counterpart, but it also ensures a speedy cooking process.

Nate shared his thoughts in a post, saying: “Such a quick and easy one but really hits the spot. I’m always waiting for a table at Nando’s for at least 45 mins, Deliveroo is even worse, maybe it’s just Belfast anyway.. Ps I have an Airfryer cookbook.”

Clocking in at just 578 calories per serving, this ‘fakeaway’ burger is both light on calories and wait time.

Nate said: “No long wait for table or waiting on delivery.”

The video showcasing Nate’s creation has gone viral, amassing over 1.1 million views, with more than 24,600 likes and 66 comments.

Among the praise, one viewer exclaimed: “Looks so good.”

So, if you’re keen on saving some cash while still enjoying a homemade Nando’s experience, Nate’s got you covered.
