Next Dreamlight Valley update release date estimate
The next Dreamlight Valley update, bringing the world of Inside Out to the valley, is expected to arrive in August 2025.
According to the most recent Dreamlight Valley roadmap, the next update is set to arrive in Summer 2025. The last Dreamlight Valley update, The Mystery of Skull Rock, launched on June 18, 2025, so there’s little room for the next update to fall other than August.
This does fit in with a two-month rota that Gameloft has been following for some time, while still falling within the summer season. The update in question includes new content from Inside Out, as the roadmap teases you will “get in touch with your emotions.” This complements a memory display shown in the image.
After that, another update takes us back to the Beauty and the Beast realm as Cogsworth and Lumiere join the gang, and Cinderella looks set to finally make her royal entrance in the final update of the year.

- June 6, 2023: Update 5, The Remembering, reveals the Fairy Godmother as the resident of the pumpkin house, and adds a massive new storyline in which you come face to face with The Forgetting themselves.
- April 5, 2023: Update 4, Pride of the Valley, adds a The Lion King realm, in which a story unravels starring Simba and Nala – and a lot of Hyenas. There’s also a new surprise when you increase your friendship with Buzz.
- February 16, 2023: A Festival of Friendship reunites Olaf with Elsa, introducing us to Mirabel Madrigal and the Mini-Casita.
- December 6, 2023: Update 2, Missions in Uncharted Space lets you unlock Stitch in Dreamlight Valley, and Toy Story characters Buzz and Woody.
- October 19, 2023: Scar’s Kingdom adds Dreamlight Valley Scar quests to the Disney game, revealing the new Mines, and new resources.
