What do you get the Pokemon fan in your life who seemingly has everything? A Poke Ball, that’s what. Amazon is offering several high-end, officially licensed replicas of this iconic piece of monster-catching equipment at a discount for Black Friday. The models on offer include the Quick Ball, Net Ball, and Dusk Ball, each of which is down to $75 (normally $100 each).
$75 each (was $100 each)
These replica die-cast Poke Balls have a finely detailed metal shell and a premium painted finish–but they aren’t just attractive paperweights. The models feature motion sensors, and when activated, the buttons come to life with multicolor lights that replicate the nail-biting sequence of capturing a Pokemon. Each Poke Ball has a presentation case that hinges open to show them off and keep them safe on your shelf.
While these are the only models that are discounted, manufacturer Wand Company has a long line of other realistic Poke Ball replicas available at full price, including iconic options like the original red and white Poke Ball, Great Ball, and Ultra Ball, all for $100 each. If those are a bit too expensive, the company also makes mini Poke Ball replicas that are a bit cheaper at $60 apiece.
Something that’ll go very nicely with these Poke Balls are Pokemon Blu-rays and DVDs, many of which are on sale at Amazon for Black Friday. If you’re familiar with Pokemon at all, then you most likely caught at least one episode of the anime, as it has been airing in one form or another for decades now, and you can relive the journey of Ash Ketchum, Pikachu, and friends with these box sets.
