Suits follows the careers of Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht), senior attorney at the prestigious Pearson Hardman law firm, and Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams), a new associate attorney hired by Specter for his photographic memory and legal knowledge despite not having a college degree or attending law school. The show also includes great performances from Rick Hoffman (Louis Litt) and Meghan Markle (Rachel Zane), also known as the Duchess of Sussex.
The show’s nine seasons are packed with interpersonal drama between the many lawyers and assistants who work for Pearson Hardman and the wealthy corporate clients the firm represents. While Suits earned respectable ratings during its original cable TV run from 2011-2019, the series has seen a recent boom in popularity on streaming services like Peacock and Netflix.
