The UK’s unpredictable weather can be frustrating, but if you’re hoping to get outside more in 2025, you won’t want to let rain, wind or cold temperatures stop you from heading out.
Investing in a good coat is a purchase that will see you through the wetter seasons and years to come, but not every coat is made to withstand adverse weather conditions.
Next shoppers have found a coat that’s waterproof and warm – the Shower Resistant Padded Puffer Hooded Mid Length Coat is a practical choice for the outdoors, and it costs £64.
The coat comes in 7 different colours and the handy features include a high neck for cosiness, fleece-lined zip pockets and shower-resistant hood.
Next shoppers are leaving reviews on the coat, with one saying: ”Lovely warm and cosy coat. Excellent value at £64 – looks more expensive than it actually is. The extendable hood is so useful for unexpected showers and the fleecy lined pockets are lovely when it’s icy. Good quality coat that I would thoroughly recommend everyone has in their wardrobe.” [SIC]
Another shopper commented: ”I am very happy with my coat, it’s very good quality and very warm and it being waterproof really helps with all the rain we’re having.”
A third said: ”I absolutely love this coat. It is so cosy and warm. The neckline is like a scarf around the neck, soft and very padded, shielding from the elements. Great pockets with zips. Excellent length.”
However, one Next customer added: ”Lovely looking coat, very warm but zips [are] very poor [and] keep sticking, hence [I gave it] 4 Stars.” [SIC]
