Few film franchises have been as influential as the ones starring Bond–James Bond–and for Amazon Big Deal Days, you can relive all of those 007 adventures with this massive 24-movie collection. Normally $200, Amazon has made use of its license to thrill and discounted this box set to $100. Not only do you get decades of Bond movies on Blu-ray and digital, but you’ll also get a 1:36 scale replica of an Aston Martin DB10, the car that was seen in Spectre.
It’s worth noting that the last Bond movie, No Time To Die, isn’t included in this set, but you can pick up a 4K Blu-ray of it for $25 (normally $34). That version of the film includes a standard Blu-ray disc and a digital streaming code, or you can pick up a standard Blu-ray for $20. There’s also box set of the 24 James Bond films on Blu-ray for $54 (was $115) but you’re not getting the adorable Aston Martin toy car or digital copies with it.
As for the main event, The Ultimate James Bond Collection has every other film starring the suave secret agent, from Dr. No to Spectre, all on standard Blu-ray. You’re also getting digital copies of the films so that you can stream them on a laptop or tablet device, and there are several documentaries included as well. Here’s a quick look at the extra special features:
- The Story So Far – A look back at Daniel Craig’s Bond movies
- The Shadow of SPECTRE – Bond screenwriters discuss the sinister organization
- Everything or Nothing 90-minute documentary
- World of Bond
- Being Bond
- Designing 007: 50 Years of Bond Style
On top of that, most of the Bond films are the ultimate editions that have been released over the years, so there’s a stack of bonus materials dedicated to each one on each of their respective discs. Everyone has their favorite era of Bond, so seeing how the films starring notable actors like Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, and Pierce Brosnan were developed during their tenures as MI:6’s most valuable operative is an extra treat.
If you’re a fan of Daniel Craig as Bond specifically and you don’t care for the other incarnations, you can check out the Daniel Craig 4K Collection for $33 (normally $90). This gets you Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall, Spectre, and No Time To Die in one package, all presented in ultra-sharp 4K and with a mountain of behind-the-scenes features included.
For a different sort of assassin, you can also check out this deal on John Wick. The first film is now 10 years old and you can return to a shadowy world of assassins with the upcoming John Wick: Titans of Cult 4K Steelbook. Not only do you get a sharp-dressed movie, there are also new bonus features, an exclusive steelbook packaging, and collectible materials. Alternatively, the entire collection of John Wick movies is just $30 on Blu-ray.
