The Hyundai Motor India has announced hiking the price range across the lineup. As per the details shared by the brand via official release, the revised price range will be implemented from January 1, 2025.
It has been confirmed by the brand that all the Hyundai models will become costly up to Rs 25,000. The company said the decision to increase was due to input costs, adverse exchange rate and an increase in logistics costs.
Statement from Top Official
Reacting about the same, the company’s Whole-time Director and Chief Operating Officer, Tarun Garg said, “At Hyundai Motor India Limited, our endeavour is always to absorb rising costs to the extent possible, ensuring minimal impact on our customers. However, with the sustained increase in input cost, it has now become imperative to pass on a part of this cost escalation through a minor price adjustment.”
In addition, he said, “This price increase will be done across models and the extent of the increase will be up to Rs 25000. The price increase will be effective from January 1, 2025, on all MY25 models.”
Price Hike By Top Brands
Meanwhile, Hyundai is not the only manufacturer that initiated the step. The leading car makers like Maruti Suzuki, and Tata among others also followed the same path. Even luxury car makers like Audi, BMW and Mercedes announced hiking the price range across the range in India.

Currently, Hyundai offers a wide range of cars in the Indian market. The list includes Creta, Venue, Varna, Exter, Grand i10 Nios, i20, i20 N line and Alcazar.
