Suzuki Motorcycle India has spiced things up in its scooter line-up by launching a refreshed version of the Avenis with bold new dual-tone colours.
The sporty 125cc scooter now starts at Rs 91,400 for the standard variant, while the Ride Connect edition is priced at Rs 93,200 (ex-showroom).
The company has introduced a stylish dual-tone colour option – Metallic Matte Platinum Silver No. 2 paired with Glass Sparkle Black, as per NDTV Auto.
Having said that, this new colour joins the existing palette, which includes Glossy Sparkle Black with Pearl Glacier White, Pearl Mira Red, and an all-Glossy Sparkle Black option.
Under the hood, the Avenis continues with a 124.3 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, delivering 8 bhp at 6,750 rpm and 10 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm.
The engine is BS6 OBD-2B compliant and features Suzuki’s Eco Performance (SEP) technology, striking a balance between peppy performance and fuel efficiency. It competes with rivals like the Yamaha RayZR, Honda Dio 125, and TVS Ntorq.
The feature highlights include a digital instrument cluster, LED headlamps and tail lamps, split grab rails, and sporty graphics. For convenience, it offers a front storage pocket with a USB charger, an external fuel cap, a spacious 21.8-litre under-seat storage, and a comfortable step-through seat.
The scooter rides on a 12-inch front tyre, gets telescopic front suspension, and includes a Combined Brake System (CBS) along with a side stand interlock for added safety.
