When is the next Steam sale? It feels like one Steam sale has just ended when the next one begins, but with some events offering better discounts than others and genre-specific sales, it’s a good idea to keep these dates to hand.
Fortunately, Valve has released the entire Steam sale dates that are happening soon, thus enabling you to plan your wishlist. Whether you’re looking for new PC games to sink your teeth into or simply the best PC games of all time, there’s something for everyone on Steam. Smaller publisher sales can introduce you to new favorites if you get to the bargains in time, while seasonal sales are much bigger and last one to two weeks, with more games, DLC, and bundles available with chunkier discounts.

Upcoming Steam Next Fest
The next Steam Next Fest takes place from June 10 – June 17, 2024
Steam ‘Fests’ are themed events featuring a combination of discounts and demos. You may see reductions on the games on your wishlist or some bargains you might want to try, but you can also try out some upcoming games with limited-time demos.
Unlike standard sales, Next Fest turns the spotlight on upcoming PC games you might not normally look too much into, usually by launching pre-release demos. Some games featured in the most recent Steam Next Fest include Turnip Boy Robs a Bank, Ghostrunner 2, and Forgive Me Father 2.
Steam sale wishlist
The best Steam feature for keeping track of sales is your wishlist. Browsing sales can often introduce you to surprise hits, but if there are games you know you want, be sure to add them to your Steam Wishlist, and you’ll be notified when they go on sale.
There’s almost always a sale taking place on Steam, and if you’re unsure, check the Steam front page to find out. Even when there’s no event on, there are always special offers, so check out the Steam specials page, and be sure to wishlist your most wanted games so you’re notified when they go on sale.
