If rumors are to be believed, the BYD might release the car or any similar model in the Indian market as well. However, the brand is yet to share the related details.
The Chinese EV manufacturer Built Your Dreams (BYD), which has been giving tough competition to Tesla in terms of sales, has unveiled a new Atto 2 crossover in their homeland. The vehicle reportedly will go on sale later this year and will be known as Yuan Up in the Chinese market.
If rumors are to be believed, the brand might release the car or any similar model in the Indian market as well. However, the company is yet to share the related details.
When it comes to the European market, the compact EV is likely to go on sale next year. Again! the concrete confirmation by the company is yet to be delivered. It is expected to cost around 30,000 GBP (roughly Rs 31 lakh).
The all-new Atto 2 will be positioned a step below from its tech-loaded Atto 3. The vehicle has been developed on the company’s third-gen electric platform 3.0, which makes it safer and better in the segment. It will be measured as 4,310 mm in length, 1,830 mm in width, and 1,675 mm in height.
While the BYD is yet to share the spec and power figures, reports revealed that it might come with a single electric motor at the front, generating a max power under the bracket between 94 BHP to 174 BHP. It will be either powered by a 32 kWH or 45.1 kWh battery setup, offering a decent range of 300 km to 400 km of range, respectively.
