ETO Motors Launched ‘Drive to Own’ Scheme for Electric 3-Wheelers in Hyderabad

Last Updated:

ETO Motors has teamed up with SETWIN to provide professional training for drivers, helping them operate electric 3-wheelers efficiently and optimise performance.

The ‘Drive to Own’ scheme is a driver-focused programme that allows participants to own their electric 3-wheelers over 36 months.

ETO Motors, a leader in electric mobility based in Hyderabad, has launched its game-changing ‘Drive to Own’ initiative to support the vision of HCM Sri. Revanth Reddy and boost the adoption of electric 3-wheelers in the city.

In collaboration with Uber, the programme aims to create a sustainable, seamless electric transport system, while empowering drivers and improving urban mobility.

The ‘Drive to Own’ scheme is designed for drivers to own their electric 3-wheelers over 36 months, offering a hassle-free ownership model with no need for traditional EMIs.

What makes this scheme unique is the easy ownership model, which includes free vehicle maintenance and unlimited charging for the entire duration. With a low initial investment, drivers enjoy financial flexibility and lower operating costs, all while contributing to a greener environment.

To support drivers in adopting this new model, ETO Motors is teaming up with SETWIN to offer professional training. These programs will help drivers learn how to operate electric 3-wheelers efficiently and enhance customer experience. Over the next 12 months, ETO Motors plans to onboard 2,000 drivers, playing a key role in Hyderabad’s shift towards eco-friendly urban transport.

Recently, ETO Motors hosted a training event in collaboration with Uber, where the benefits of electric vehicles over diesel ones were showcased, including lower costs and environmental impact.

Top-performing drivers were also recognised for their contribution to the electric mobility sector. With Uber’s partnership, the scheme ensures a steady demand for drivers, raising the profile of electric 3-wheelers across Hyderabad.

Rajeev YSR, Group Chief Marketing Officer at ETO Motors, expressed his enthusiasm for further partnerships: “We look forward to engaging with Government organizations, NBFCs, corporate houses, and training partners to make electric vehicles a household story.”

Through its innovative ‘Drive to Own’ programme and collaboration with Uber, ETO Motors is helping shape a more sustainable and inclusive future for urban transportation in Hyderabad.
