If you’re eager to return to Westeros following Season 2 of House of the Dragon and haven’t read the source material yet, Amazon has some fantastic deals on George R.R. Martin’s as part of its Prime Big Deal Days early sale. Game of Thrones novels and House Targaryen histories, which served as the basis for House of the Dragon. You can even save on Game of Thrones graphic novels. We’ve rounded up the best Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon book promotions below, including a 50%-off deal on the newly released A Song of Ice and Fire paperback box set.
The New Game of Thrones Paperback Box Set
One of our favorite deals is the new edition of the Game of Thrones paperback box set for only $25.70, essentially 50% off its $50 list price. This deal is especially notable because the set just released this week. All five novels have brand-new cover art that, at this time at least, is exclusive to the set. The new illustrated covers look fantastic and are certainly eye-catching than previous covers (shown below). With a total page count of 5,216 pages, these five novels will probably keep you busy for quite some time. Will The Winds of Winter be available by the time you finish the fifth book? We wouldn’t bet on it, but anything is possible.
Thanks to the new cover art, the five-book Game of Thrones box set could make for a great gift for fans who have already read Martin’s books.
A Song of Ice and Fire Hardcover Editions
If you prefer hardcover books, all five ASOIAF novels are on sale for great prices ahead of Prime Big Deal Days. The complete set would cost a little over $100 right now, which is a pretty great deal for hardcovers of this size.
House Targaryen Books
This sale is the perfect chance to grab The Rise of the Dragon: An Illustrated History, as it’s discounted over 50%, dropping the price to only $26. This 352-page hardcover book features over 180 exclusive illustrations, and is a read for new and longtime Game of Thrones of House of the Dragon fans looking to delve deeper into the lore. There’s also a nice discount on House of the Dragon: The Complete First Season (4K), while the Season 2 Steelbook is now up for preorder.
Graphic Novels
There are also big price cuts to several Game of Thrones graphic novels. The main attraction here is The Hedge Knight, which is now just $11 (was $15). Serving as a prequel to A Song of Ice and Fire, it follows a young squire as he attempts to become a knight in the Seven Kingdoms. At nearly 200 pages, it’s a great read for any fan of George R.R. Martin’s iconic series. A few other graphic novels are discounted, including the graphic novel adaptations of A Song of Ice and Fire.
