It’s already been adapted into a movie and miniseries, but King’s iconic ‘Salem’s Lot novel is rising from the dead once again next month. Max recently revealed that the new film adaptation is coming on October 3, starring Lewis Pullman, Makenzie Leigh, Alfre Woodard, and Bill Camp. As you’d expect, several versions of ‘Salem’s Lot are discounted leading up to the movie’s debut–including not just books, but also movies and audiobooks. He’ll then set out to find what’s lurking within the woods and prevent the evil from seeping into his town. ‘Salem’s Lot was King’s second novel following Carrie, and it remains one of the best vampire novels of the last 50 years (it turns 50 next year).
